happiness poem

Happiness poem

Sana-
Happiness smells like roses
Happiness is like chocolate melting in your mouth.
If happiness was a colour it  would be yellow
Happiness lives on the beach on a hot summer day.
Happiness taste like juicy cherrys.
Happiness smells like Mc Donalds or pizza.
Happiness sounds like loud music.
It is like doing what ever you want.
Happiness looks like bright yellow sunflowers or kids laughing and giggling

Amrita and I live in Chennai.  Every morning I wake up early, hoping for rain or clouds so I can get rid of this pain but this never happen”s.  Me and my family are desperate and anxious because we have ran out of water.

I get a wet cloth and I sponge my body. People in  Chennai can’t take long showers in the hot water we have to get a wet` cloth and rub it in our body. We have been having this problem for the last five years. I get dressed and go take  a bucket and line up for the water. It takes a long time we spend half of the day to get 2 buckets of water. People normally fight about who has the most water. You only get one or 2 buckets and it has to last you the whole week. It isn't fair for us people because some people in countries that have lots of water they don't appreciate their water. They  just spill it or they take long showers while people in countries they don't even have water to cook or drink and even take a small little showers

three little pigs

intro
Hi my name is Aurora and I am known as the big bad wolf in The Three Little Pigs story.  I'm sure you all know this popular fairytale but its all FAKE!  I am here today to tell you the true story.

Paragraph 2- making cake for granny and  getting the ingredients

One day, I was wanting to make a cake for my lovely grandmother for her birthday.  I was wanting to make her feel loved. I was a bit sick and I had a cold but I thought I would still be able to make my cake. I took out all my ingredients from the cupboard and fridge. I took out my milk, butter, sugar, flour and eggs.  Firstly, I put in the milk then I put in flour and I was just about to put in my sugar when I noticed that there wasn’t any.  I thought my lovely pig neighbours wouldn’t mind giving me some so I set off towards the first house.

Paragraph 3- going and getting sugar from the first little pig
I walked to the first little pig’s house, it was made from straw.  Seriously, who would make a house from straw? Anyway, I went and I called, “Little pig, little pig are you in?”
But there was no answer and I didn't want to go in someone's house without them knowing.  I was just about to leave when my nose got itchy so I huffed and I snuffed and I sneezed a great sneeze.  The house was not strong enough so it blew down. The little pig was on the floor, dead! I didn’t want to waste perfectly good meat that was as tasty as a hamburger so I gobbled him up.  But sadly I didn't get flour from the first little, mean pig’s house so I went to the next pig’s house.

Paragraph 4- going to the second little pig’s house

I went to the second little pigs house which was fragile and weak as it was made from wood.  Again I called, “Little pig little pig are you in?  I want some sugar to bake a cake for my grandmother's birthday.‘’
‘’No go away, I won't give you sugar.. go away wolf’’
So my nose got itchy again so I shaved and I snapped and I sneezed a jolly good sneeze.  The second little pig's house was also not strong enough so it blew down and the second little pig was on the floor, dead as a doornail.  It would be crazy to waste a perfectly good meal so I ate him up.  I could eat all day but I had to make a cake so I went to the third little pig’s house.

Paragraph 5- going to the third pig’s house
This was my last house to go to so hopefully I had better luck.  I walked over to the third little pigs house, it was strong as it was made out of brick.  I called ’little pig little pig are you in I need some sugar to make a cake for my grandmother's birthday’’
‘’go away wolf I don't want to give you flour’’
I wanted to go but my nose got itchy once again so I huffed and I snuffed and I sneezed a very big sneeze but the house was strong and it didn't blow down. But still I had no sugar I didn't want to give my grandmother a cake that's dough and un sweet.

Paragraph 6- councloution

To sum up, I didn't get any sugar from those mean, selfish pig’s but at least I had a good time with my grandmother we enjoyed the afternoon together and we had fun.

task- write an acrostic poem about the three parrots

The Three Parrots

Tahi, Rua and Toru were siblings
Her brothers thought they were the most beautiful birds in the forest
Every bird in the forest grew tired of them squabbling over who was better looking.

Tahi said, “My feathers are softer than yours.”
His brother disagreed with his opinion
Rua tried everything to make her brothers stop arguing
Everytime Rua tried to make her brothers get along, they just laughed at her and mocked her.
Everyone said the brothers were ruining the forest.

Pretty and perfect, Tahi and Toru claimed to be.
A wind rustled the branches and Tane Mahuta made his presence known.
Rua asked Tane Mahuta for his help.
Rua got told that she had done her best.
“Ohh stop that squabbling!” said Rua .
Tane Mahuta separated the brothers forever
So from then on, the forest was peaceful and there was no squabbling.

setting description

Sana
Paragraph 1 - The weather and atmosphere
It was a hot, sweltering day. There were beautiful, vibrant houses that glowed brightly in the sun . The sea was scorching hot and the concrete floor was white and boiling. The shiny blue roof tops were sunburnt from the blistering sun. The tall mountains were keeping guard of this beautiful place.

Paragraph 2 - The houses
The concrete floors and walls were white, cold and hard. The ground was bumpy but some parts weren't. The walls of the houses were a clean white and the roofs were a bright blue colour.  The roofs shone dazzlingly in the sun. The windows were very intricate. Some of the houses were tall and vibrant but some houses were plane ordinary colour

Paragraph 3 - The ocean
The sizzling, clear, blue ocean shone brightly. The boats made huge amounts of bubble beneath the ocean as it moved around. The small waves gently hit the rocks on the shore . The shallow end of the water  was light blue and clear but the deep end was dark blue but you couldn't see anything in it  .

Paragraph 4 - The overall feeling of the place

I think that this place is beautiful, calm, peaceful, joyful and  there are lots of things to do.  If anyone would want to come here it would be me.

the task- we had to make a prediction on the story the force and see if our prediction was right

The force
One day Mum, Dad, Max and Harper went on a picnic , on a wooden bridge. Under the wooden bridge was a lake. The children   splashed into the water. And in the water there was a human cannonball.. Everyone was excited but Harper was scared of the water. Max and some other children stood in line to take turns on the cannonball.. Max was first in line and a pushy kid was behind and pushy kid told Max that he wanted to be first in line and pushed Max out of the way Then Pushy Kid said to Harper “ You are such a scaredy cat”. Harper felt embarrassed and made an excuse to go to the toilet. On the way Harper meet the legendary Yoda who was a Jetti master and he was in connection with the force. Yoda asked Harper what was wrong and Harper explanied that pushy kid was being mean to her. So then Yoda decided to have a discussion with the kids. And then they were all happy and jumped with great joy.
The end!!!!!! By sana and vrushti

We  give our prediction a 2/10 because  that we said they went on the picnic was right  and he did meet Yoda when he was going to the bathroom but the rest was wrong.
